Now, minimum 33.3% seats in all engineering and medical colleges inBiharwould be reserved for Women.

CM Nitish Kumar ordered the officials of the science & technology and the Health & medical Education departments to take necessary steps to reserve minimum 33.3% seats for girls at the time of admission in all engineering and medical colleges.

Bihar would become the first state (in the country) to provide a 33.3% horizontal quota for girls in the technical college.
