BPSC Examination Pattern and Stages

BPSC Examination Pattern and Stages for BPSC Prelims and Mains exam are the most crucial step in BPSC Preparation. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is expected to release the BPSC Notification 2020 shortly. Every year, Lakh of learners appears for the exam undertaken by BPSC to recruit the state’s multiple Group “A” and Group “B” services. The Bihar State and Subordinate Services Combined Exam is conducted in three stages:

  1. BPSC Pre (Preliminary)
  2. BPSC Mains
  3. Interview/Viva-voce/Personality Test

BPSC Pre (Preliminary)

  • The Preliminary Examination will consist only one paper of General studies and General science.
  • It will be of objective type and carry a maximum of 150 marks, Total time 2 hrs.
  • There will be 150 questions of multiple choice (Objective Type), carrying equal marks. There will be no negative marking  for any wrong answer.

BPSC Mains

I General Studies –I 200 3 Hours
II General Studies-II 200 3 Hours
