BPSSC Forest Range Officer Exam Strategy

The written Examination for BPSC Forrest Range Officer will consist of Two Papers and like any other objective exam of BPSC or BPSSC the strategy to qualify the exam is to focus on previous year papers and Mock Questions.

Paper 1 of Samanya Hindi for BPSSC Forest Range Officer Exam is of 100 Marks and will consists of 50 questions. There will be negative marking in the exam and 0.2 of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Students need to ensure minimum 30% of marks in Paper 1 in order to be eligible for the forest exam.

The strategy to qualify Paper 1 is to practice the Hindi Grammar part from PSC Notes or any standard book and practice mock tests for exhaustive coverage of the syllabus.

Paper 2 for BPSSC Forest Range Officer Exam is of 200 Marks and will consists of 100 questions.There will be negative marking in the exam and 0.3 of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Age Limit for the Examination

  • Unreserved (General)- 21 to 42 Years
  • OBC- 21 to 45 Years
  • EWS- 21 to 45 Years
  • SC & ST- 21 to 47 Years (Only for Bihar Permanent Resident)

Selection Procedure

The selection procedure will be three-tier
1) Written Examination
2) Interview
3) Physical Endurance Test (PET)

Fees

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 700 (Gen/EWS/BC and EBC -Men and Women), Rs. 400 (SC/ST – Men and Women) and Rs. 25 (PH) respectively as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit) mode or any other mode as applicable.
